In addition, Geoffrey lectures and offers talks on Dispute Resolution and related topics.

Security for Costs - redacted example
This example was from an English arbitration some years ago - shortly after the power was given in s.38(3) of the Arbitration Act 1996. This Award was scrutinised in Court on appeal - the appeal was dismissed in a very brief and robust Judgment.
Use of Experts in the Service of the Tribunal
There is a risk attached to the use of experts in the service of the Tribunal. The expert, the person experienced in the business or techniques of the dispute, can start a cold breeze of logic and common sense blowing through the dusty rooms of the law.
