Dispute Board
Dispute Boards (Dispute Resolution Boards, Dispute Adjudication Boards, Dispute Advisory Boards . . .) of one, three or more people, can be appointed at the start of a project or as and when a dispute arises.
Geoffrey has experience as Chairman, sole member, and member of a panel in FIDIC and other forms of contract.
Adjudication
Usually less formal than arbitration but also a private alternative to national courts, adjudication is reqired by statute for UK construction but is widely used internationally in the FIDIC and other forms of contract.
Decisions are interim decisions but can become final if no-one expresses dissatisfaction and seeks further recourse
